St Cross Community Matching Gift

Thanks to the generosity of friend of the College David Scrymgeour, gifts to St Cross will be doubled in value, making your support go even further.

All donations will be matched pound for pound. For new regular (monthly, quarterly, or annual) gifts, the full value of the first year of the donation will be matched.

David has generously made a maximum of £125,000 available in match funds from 1st December 2024 and into 2025. Gifts will be matched up to a value of £30,000.

The match funds will support the endowment of a new St Cross Community Bursary, a pioneering award programme recognising students’ demonstrated achievements and commitment to supporting their own personal development, leadership skills, and entrepreneurial spirit.

The College currently has eight Community Bursaries established, thanks to David’s support. If the full £125,000 is drawn down by the end of 2025, this will ensure that ninth Community Bursary will be endowed at St Cross.
