Accessibility at St Cross College

Accessibility

St Cross College is working to improve accessibility to its sites, and has recently introduced a number of improvements to the main St Giles site. Although much of the College is housed in 19th- century buildings, we have been working with the Council and the University to improve access to College for all.
Visitors are advised to contact the Lodge before planning a visit, who will be able to provide you with more information and discuss your requirements: +44 (0) 1865 278 490.
We will do as much as we can to assist you and make reasonable adjustments and arrangements to make the College as accessible as we can.
We also welcome feedback and suggestions for future improvements: estates.manager@stx.ox.ac.uk

St Giles Site
There is step-free access throughout the Blackwell Quad, and into the main building from the main entrance on St Giles (see map).
Our newest building, the West Wing, is completely accessible, with step-free access throughout, lift access to the upper floors (to accommodation), button-operated doors, and disabled toilets on the ground floor.
An accessible toilet is also available outside the Common Room (see map).
There is step-free access from the Common Room into the quad.
In October 2018, ramps were installed around the Blackwell Quad allowing step-free access.
