St Cross College invites applications for three non-stipendiary Junior Research Fellowships tenable for up to three years commensurate with postdoctoral funding from 1 October 2024. The Fellowships will carry common table rights (five free lunches a week when the kitchen is open) and are open to candidates in any academic discipline who have already formally been awarded their doctorate when applying and who are in a funded postdoctoral research post held at the University of Oxford of at least two years' duration from October 2024.
Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a brief statement of research plans, and should ask two referees to write on their behalf to the College. Also required as part of the application is a signed statement from an appropriate officer of the Oxford department/faculty in which the applicant is working that it will provide the necessary support in terms of space and resources if the candidate is elected to a Junior Research Fellowship.

Interviews of shortlisted candidates will take place in June 2024.
