St Cross College invites applications for two non-stipendiary Research Fellowships tenable for up to three years commensurate with postdoctoral funding from 1 October 2025. The Fellowships will carry common table rights (five free lunches a week when the kitchen is open) and are open to candidates in any academic discipline who have already formally been awarded their doctorate when applying and who are in a funded postdoctoral research post held at the University of Oxford of at least two years' duration from October 2025.
Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae including the end date of their current Oxford postdoctoral contract, a brief statement of research plans, and should ask two referees to write on their behalf to the College. Also required as part of the application is a signed statement from an appropriate officer of the Oxford department/faculty in which the applicant is working that it will provide the necessary support in terms of space and resources if the candidate is elected to a Research Fellowship.
