Professor William Scott-Jackson is an ‘Expert Entrepreneur’ at the Saïd Business School, Associate Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Mutual and Employee-owned Business and Visiting Professor at Cass Business School. He mentors students, lectures and acts as judge in Entrepreneurship for the Oxford Foundry, Saïd Business School and OUI as well as global organisations (e.g. presentation on growing your business).
He has founded numerous companies in Consulting, IT and Biotech, many of which have grown rapidly, leading to successful trade sales, and he is a frequent investor in very early-stage ventures, many of them Oxford spin-outs.
As an academic, he also researches management psychology and happiness (see presentation on maximising the happiness of yourself ,and those around you). He has written two academic books on ‘active happiness’. Named by CIPD as one of the top five HR thinkers, William is regularly invited to consult and present on behavioural and social issues, strategic human resources and leadership.
