Taieba grew up in Bangladesh and worked on a number of community service activities including winter donation campaigns, organising support for flood and earthquake victims, tree plantation drives as well as organising health and hygiene workshops for children in underserved communities. Later on she also joined a local NGO, the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre, through which she has worked on youth-related policy advocacy and personally established and led a new Business Development team which offers funds to provide grant support to young entrepreneurs and changemakers in Bangladesh.
