Sharda Gautam

Sharda is passionate about enhancing rural livelihoods by promoting modern and innovative manufacturing in small towns and rural areas. Early in his career, he moved from the automotive sector and dedicated years to grassroots work, culminating in his role as the first Executive Director of The Handloom School.

Since 2017, he has been associated with Tata Trusts, first as Head of Crafts and later as Zonal Head for North India. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (NIT) Surat and is a Gold Medallist from Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). He currently serves as Head of Institutions at the Tata Trusts.
