My primary research interests are molecular microbiology and vaccine development for antimicrobial resistant bacteria. My current postdoctoral work is aiming to develop a vaccine against Neisseria gonorrhoeae, a bacterial pathogen at risk of becoming untreatable, in a collaborative project combining population genomics, molecular microbiology and immunology. Previously, I obtained my PhD from the University of Warwick, investigating the role of the bacterial membrane in antimicrobial resistance.
