Praveen Khanghta

Praveen Khanghta is the Chief Operating Officer at The Convergence Foundation (TCF), where he was also part of the founding team. TCF is an Indian philanthropic foundation dedicated to driving India’s economic growth and development by incubating and building systemic non-profit institutions.

As COO, Praveen guides TCF’s cross-functional, value-added functions for its broader portfolio. He also directly leads the foundation's core work on state capacity and government effectiveness, while managing its partnerships with knowledge and research institutions.

Praveen’s previous experience includes leading strategy work as a Senior Strategy Manager at Central Square Foundation (CSF) and serving as an Advisor to the Secretary of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. An industrial engineer by training, he is a Teach For India, Young India Fellowship, and Acumen Fellow.
