Nagakarthik Madura Prakash Rao
Nagakarthik is the founder of Sauramandala and Vice President at Blockchain for Impact (formerly CryptoRelief), where he has been associated since its inception. An engineer by education, Nagakarthik has spent the last decade working across the Indian Himalayan region and the Northeastern states, designing and leading large scale programs in health, education, climate, and rural entrepreneurship. His work focuses on building ground up public problem-solving ecosystems that are rooted in local contexts and powered by systemic thinking. At Sauramandala Foundation, he leads the Centre for Accelerated Development (CFAD) - a framework for identifying, prototyping, and scaling contextual solutions in partnership with government systems. CFAD supports a learning layer for public problem-solving and aims to create a pipeline of investable and implementable ideas that respond to real, ground-up challenges. Nagakarthik is also a key voice behind India Health & Climate Resilience Fund, which mobilizes catalytic capital and technical expertise for ground-up problem solving in public health. A passionate systems thinker, he believes in unlocking the power of local governance and collective leadership.
