Dr Tarun Monga
Dr Tarun Monga is a Managing Trustee of the Saksham Foundation, an NGO focused on education, health and community development. Tarun is a social impact leader with nearly 15 years of experience in community grounded actions, as well as advisory roles focused on the socio-economic development of rural areas. With a humble beginning as a volunteer for various community organizations, Tarun is presently spearheading the “Samridh Gram” (model village) project at Saksham. This initiative works with tribal communities on mental health, educational initiatives through learning resource centers, natural farming, and enhanced access to healthcare services. Additionally, his professional engagement also centers on fostering safe mobility through gender responsive programs by addressing safety and mobility challenges faced by marginalized sections. He is a clinical psychologist by training, with doctoral specialisation in public health.
