Rahul Karkara is a product management professional at Microsoft, where he leads strategic initiatives for Microsoft 365 Copilot Connectors, building AI-powered enterprise search capabilities that enable organisations to securely discover, access, and leverage knowledge at scale. Over the past decade, he has built a career at the intersection of deep technology, product strategy, and business transformation, delivering solutions that power mission-critical systems for millions of users.

Previously, Rahul worked at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), contributing to systems engineering and satellite communications for more than 25 satellite missions, including the landmark missions Mars Orbiter Mission and Chandrayaan-2. Rahul holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian School of Business (ISB), complementing his engineering background with expertise in strategy, innovation, and technology leadership. He aims to merge his experience in AI and technology to champion the responsible adoption of AI for broader societal benefit, validate practical frameworks for scaling technology-enabled public impact, and learn from global best practices in governance and leadership. His goal is to apply these insights to drive transformative, inclusive change across institutions and communities.
