Selena is passionate about translating scientific innovation into real-world impact at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and public policy. She has been recognised on the Forbes 30 Under 30 lists in both Italy and Germany, delivered a TEDx talk on democratising healthcare, and received the 2026 Sylke Tempel Essay Prize for her work on political compromise. Advice to St Cross students: Don't feel pressured to follow a linear career path. Some of the most meaningful opportunities come from connecting ideas, disciplines and people that initially seem unrelated. Stay curious, say yes to conversations outside your field, and remember that your degree is not only about becoming an expert, it's also about figuring out what you don't want.
