Sruthi is the Head of Project Strategy, Fundraising & Communications at a not-for-profit cancer care centre in southern Tamil Nadu, India. Her work spans preventive oncology programmes, home-based palliative care, and the development of a tertiary cancer hospital aimed at serving vulnerable communities in the region. She focuses on aligning clinical vision, institutional systems, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen patient-centred cancer care in resource-constrained settings. With over a decade of experience across health, disability, and social impact organisations, Sruthi’s work centres on communication as a leadership and governance tool. Her strategic initiatives focus on making complex medical, institutional, and policy systems accessible to stakeholders and responsive to the needs of patients and caregivers. Across roles, she has built accessible knowledge platforms and translated systemic gaps into implementable frameworks. Shaped by lived experience in caregiving, Sruthi brings a systems-oriented and compassion-led approach to institutional development. She is particularly interested in how leadership, communication, and governance intersect to improve patient experience and health system performance.
