DPhil Chemistry (2026)
Hari began his DPhil in Chemistry in January 2026, following an MEng in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge and a year working as an engineering consultant in German factories.
His research falls under the sphere of solar energy, specifically aiming to develop transient absorption spectroscopy at high temperatures and pressure for the investigation of photocatalytic mechanisms and kinetics.
In his free time, he enjoys playing racket sports as well as football and basketball, in addition to learning languages and trying to get to grips with the piano.
Hari is very grateful to the joint E. P. Abraham and Clarendon Fund scholarships, which allow him to do what he loves and research spectroscopic topics that can contribute to renewable energy understanding and solutions.
