Yachna Srivastava
Yachna Srivastava is Co-founder and Director of EcoKargha Consulting, where she leads strategic advisory services on gender equality, climate-resilient livelihoods, and inclusive development. She collaborates with non-profits, CSR programs, and multilateral agencies to design and evaluate community-based interventions, with a focus on women and adolescent girls. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. Over the past two decades, she has held leadership and advisory roles with organizations such as PRADAN, JEEVI-KA, BASIX, PATH, CARE, Digital Green, and GIZ.
Yachna has contributed to the scale up of climate-smart agriculture and irrigation models, pioneered inclusive financial access through the nationally adopted ‘Bank Sakhi’ model, and led programs in health, education, and natural resource management. She has worked extensively across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh, and with Indigenous communities like the Gond, Korku, and tribes of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
