My DPhil research explores how AI can support the organisation and accessibility of biological knowledge, with a focus on biocuration in plant pathology. I am particularly interested in representing plant-pathogen interactions in ways that make this knowledge more usable for the research community.

The generous support of this scholarship has made it possible for me to pursue my studies in Oxford, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to focus fully on my research.

I have found St Cross to be a particularly supportive and welcoming college. The academic community and the guidance available here have been an important part of my experience so far.

Outside of my research, I enjoy exploring the UK’s countryside and being outdoors. Oxford offers many opportunities to discover new interests, and my time here has been very enriching.
