Time: Drinks from 7pm, dinner served at 7.30pm


Bookings: Please book via the meal bookings system.
Bookings open: 9am, Monday 12 January 2026
Bookings close: 10am, Thursday 22 January 2026


Price: £34 (Junior Members and guests)
£41 (Senior Members and guests)
£24 (Wine or non-alcoholic wine selection)
£6 (Soft drink per bottle)

Wine & soft drinks may be purchased at time of booking, or at the bar on the night. Members must not bring in alcohol from outside College. 


Dress code: Black Tie Only


Changes to Bookings: Members must specify all dietary requirements & names before the Event booking closes. If provided after booking closes, we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate these changes. 

If you wish to sell your ticket to another St Cross student, you must submit this information before booking closes to mealbooking.queries@stx.ox.ac.uk 


Cancellations:  Any cancellations must be notified prior to Event booking closure. After this time we cannot provide a refund. The College reserves the right to restrict bookings for members who do not notify the College of a cancellation, or who do not attend.

Our Black Tie Special Dinner offers a refined evening in Hall.
Guests gather for a champagne drinks reception before enjoying a four-course menu
served in formal style. It is an opportunity to celebrate tradition
and community in a setting of elegance.

Chicken liver parfait, whipped truffle butter,
toasted sourdough crumb & roasted plum with hazelnut.

Fillet of beef with wild mushroom jus,
girolles, buttery truffle mash & onion tart tatin 

Celeriac & chestnut wellington
with parsnip purée & port jus (VE)

A selection of delcious gourmet cheese, served with fresh fruit.

Caramelised lemon Tartlet, blueberry gel & baby meringues.
