Hat-Trick of Boat Race Selections for St Cross DPhil Student

Julia Lindsey, current St Cross student, has been selected in the Oxford women's Boat Race to compete in the prestigious Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race on March 30th. This marks her third year as a member of The Boat Race team, while also serving as the Head Coach for Keble College's Women's Rowing Team

The Boat Race, first held in 1829, is an annual rowing competition held between the Cambridge University Boat Club and the Oxford University Boat Club. Traditionally, this race takes place between open-weight eights on the River Thames in London, England. 

Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from The University of British Columbia and an MSc in Psychiatry from St Cross College. Currently pursuing a DPhil in Psychiatry, she focuses her research on utilizing digital health methods, including wearables and high-frequency mood monitoring to assess the effectiveness of sleep intervention
