Prerna Mukharya (2018, Chevening CRISP Fellow) recently spoke at the Masterclass programme by eTradeforWomen, an initiative led by UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) to support women digital entrepreneurs in developing countries, helping them thrive as business leaders and influence public policy debate.
Digital transformation presents growth opportunities for businesses in South Asia, but women entrepreneurs still face obstacles. To address this, eTradeforWomen hosted its first in-person Masterclass in New Delhi, India, in December 2024. Prerna and other inspiring speakers shared strategies, lessons, and how they overcame challenges to adapt their businesses. This unique event gathered 21 women digital entrepreneurs from Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and India over four days to help them thrive as business leaders and increase their impact as digital champions.
