Boon Lim wins Oxford SU Special Recognition Award

St Cross DPhil student Boon Lim has won an Oxford University Student Union Special Recognition Award. This award honours 'students who have shown outstanding contribution and dedication to the University and wider community'. Ruairi Maguire and Ndjodi Ndeunyema also received the award.

Boon was honoured for his work developing rapid detection kits for COVID-19. 'The level of commitment Boon has shown to utilizing his academic skills to benefit society at large is highly impressive,' the Union said. The College congratulates Boon on the achievement and is eager to see how his research continues to unfold.
