Wei Wan has intensive experience in ELT (English Language Teaching), educational assessment, teacher training, and management. His interests lie in the contribution of experience to knowledge. He believes that the interrelationship between experience and formal studies is what informs the understanding of his jobs.

Mr Wan is a highly experienced teacher of English and has taught in different teaching contexts in China and globally, including teaching Younger Learners, Business English, and Exam Classes. 

To further support his broad teaching experience, he frequently flies back to the United Kingdom and has completed more than ten recognized ELT professional qualifications worldwide, such as Cambridge Young Learner Extension to CELTA and Cambridge DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults). 

The next stage of his career centered on educational assessment, and he was one of the few Chinese teachers who worked as a Cambridge IELTS Speaking & Writing Examiner. He also gained his 90-credit Postgraduate Advanced Certificate in Educational Studies: Educational Assessment from Cambridge University. 

Mr Wan is also an official teacher trainer for nearly all teaching training qualifications awarded by Cambridge Assessment English, such as Cambridge CELTA, CELT-P, CELT-S, Train the Trainer, DELTA Module 1, Module 2 Teaching Practice, and Module 3. After gaining an extensive professional experience in various contexts and gaining many professional qualifications, Mr Wan then earned his second MSc in Applied Linguistics & Second Language Acquisition from Oxford University. 

Mr Wan is passionate about sharing his professional experience and knowledge with teachers in China, so he founded DEYING Education (www.deyingedu.com) in China, an authorized teacher training center by Cambridge Assessment English. He has been repeatedly invited to give talks on the media. He and his team have influenced and inspired many teachers from famous training schools, international schools and universities in China and worldwide. His success benefits from his Master of Letters in Management from St Andrews University and his studies on Cambridge IDLTM (International Diploma in Language Teaching Management).
