Professor Inge Daniels

Inge is a social anthropologist who specialises in the study of material culture. Her main fieldwork site is Japan where she has lived and worked for more than seven years.  Her research interests include gift exchange and economic anthropology, the commodification of religious forms, and the anthropology of domestic space.
