Research Fellow in Mathematics
I am a Royal Society Newton International Fellow at the Mathematical Institute. Previously I was a PhD student at Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, Italy.
My fields of research are Topology and Geometric Group Theory, with a focus on Hyperbolic Geometry and other forms of negative curvature.
I like to use geometry and pictures to think about mathematical problems, and to try and find geometric meaning hidden behind abstract concepts.
