Beecroft Fellow in Cosmology
I'm a Beecroft Fellow in Cosmology at the BIPAC and a lecturer in physics at St. Peter's college. Prior to this, I held a PhD fellowship (Jean-Pierre Aguilar) by Capital Fund Management based at Sorbonne University in Paris, which was followed by a six month research grant by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics in Munich, and a six months postdoctoral position.
My research focuses on the formation of large-scale structures (LSS) in the Universe, for which I run and analyse N-body simulations. I work in the interplay between theory and simulations to better understand structure formation, and how different models and theories of gravity shape it.
In addition to my research work, I have also taken the opportunity to get involved with college and university activities promoting Oxford to low-represented communities therein, participating in projects such as Aspire Liverpool and Marie Curious.
