David started as an intern at Centurion (the precursor to the Innocence Project, the organisation which sparked the global movement to address miscarriages of justice) and he developed claims of innocence for miscarriages of justice, corresponding with incarcerated individuals and drafting extensive briefs for their cases. He also volunteered with the Petey Greene programme by tutoring dozens of incarcerated students who subsequently received their high school diplomas. David has a policy initiative, Trenton MOVES, which will provide equitable, accessible and affordable high-quality transportation to the city's 90,000 residents
