He led negotiation and supply of COVID-19 medicines (Vaccines and Antibodies) with the Korean government and played a pivotal role in establishing COVID-19 vaccine manufacturing partnership with SK bioscience to minimise the global supply issue during the early pandemic.

His efforts are now focusing on building Vaccine & Immune Therapies business unit at the AstraZeneca Headquarters in Cambridge. Prior to his current role, he worked at the Boston Consulting Group (Seoul / Tokyo) as a Project Leader where he led multiple projects in Tech and Healthcare. His topics of expertise were new business development, performance improvement and due diligence. Furthermore, he closed Series A round fundraising successfully and led product development of an AI healthcare start-up called AITRICS. A meaningful partnership with Intel was established with the start-up through tremendous efforts of David. He is keen on meeting new people, listening to various life stories and creating positive impact on people’s lives at any scale.

His advice to St Cross students: Create a unique version of yourself to make an impact on society.
