Brett is a global finance professional, experienced board-member, qualified accountant, and former Professor of Corporate Finance at Keio University. He has worked in the financial markets for 35 years holding senior positions in several leading investment banks in London, Tokyo, and New York, established and ran a structured investment fund, and currently serves as voluntary Treasurer on the Board of Citizen’s Advice in Oxfordshire. He is the alumni representative on the St Cross Common Room Committee.

Brett lived and worked in Japan for 25 years.

Advice to St Cross students: finance is an exceptional business. Interesting, exciting, creative, and well paid. If you have a feeling that you’d like to work in finance, pursue it resolutely.
