Time: Drinks from 7pm, dinner served at 7.30pm

Bookings open: 10am, Monday 12 January 2026
Bookings close: 10am, Thursday 15 January 2026


Price: £30 (Junior Members and Oxford University guests)
£36 (Senior Members and their guests)
£24 (Wine or non-alcoholic wine selection)
£6 (Soft drink per bottle)

Wine & soft drinks may be purchased at time of booking, or at the bar on the night. Members must not bring in alcohol from outside College. 


Dress code: Lounge Suits


Changes to Bookings: Members must specify all dietary requirements & names before the Event booking closes. If provided after booking closes, we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate these changes. 

If you wish to sell your ticket to another St Cross student, you must submit this information before booking closes to mealbooking.queries@stx.ox.ac.uk 


Cancellations:  Any cancellations must be notified prior to Event booking closure. After this time we cannot provide a refund. The College reserves the right to restrict bookings for members who do not notify the College of a cancellation, or who do not attend.

This Special Dinner invites members and guests to enjoy a relaxed but elevated evening,
starting with a drinks reception and followed by a three-course menu designed for lingering conversation.

Wild Mushroom Arancini, Aged parmesan, truffle aioli & herb salad (GF)

Corn-Fed Chicken Supreme, sweetcorn purée,
charred leek, buttery mash potato & tarragon jus (GF)

Charred celeriac steak, charred leek, sweetcorn puree,
buttery mashed potato & herby gremolata. (VE)

 chocolate shortbread, caramelised orange & baby mint
