The painting workshop will be run by Dr Seham Helmi (St Cross Postdoctoral Associate) with the aim of allowing participants to develop an expressive and emotional individual style through painting. During the workshop Seham will demonstrate and explain her thought processes when starting on a painting, most of which are created through combining her personal memories and emotions with a reference photo. After Seham's demonstration, participants will be invited to use a similar concept and try to paint their take on a provided reference photo using large sketching paper and crayons.
