St Cross Family Christmas Event

Bookings: Please book via the meal bookings system.
Bookings open: 10am, Monday 27 October 2025
Bookings close: 10am, Monday 8 December 2025

Booking Information:

  • When booking please specify your child’s age in their booking and if you need a highchair. Please note we have limited furniture for young children.
     
  • Where you have a specific dietary need (such as formula or baby food), please be aware that we cannot warm bottles etc. We will also need to provide a waiver for you to bring in additional food, which can sent to you via email. Please send a request to mealbooking.queries@stx.ox.ac.uk  and we will provide this for you and book your child in for free.

Changes to Bookings: Members must specify all dietary requirements & names before the Event booking closes. If provided after booking closes, we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate these changes. 

If you wish to sell your ticket to another St Cross student, you must submit this information before booking closes to mealbooking.queries@stx.ox.ac.uk 

Cancellations:  Any cancellations must be notified prior to Event booking closure. After this time we cannot provide a refund. The College reserves the right to restrict bookings for members who do not notify the College of a cancellation, or who do not attend.

Join us for a magical evening of festive fun for the whole family — especially our youngest members — as part of St Cross College’s 60th-anniversary celebrations!

Children and grandchildren can enjoy a range of seasonal craft activities, decorate their own gingerbread treats, and sip hot chocolate while waiting for a special visit from Father Christmas himself.

There’ll be mince pies, mulled wine, soft drinks and snacks for everyone to enjoy — and plenty of festive cheer throughout College as we celebrate sixty years of the St Cross community.

Please bring a clearly labelled gift for your child, which Father Christmas and his elves will help to deliver during the evening.

St Cross Christmas cards and gifts will also be available to purchase on the night.

This event is free to attend and open to all members of the St Cross community and their guests.
