Conferences and Weddings

Located in central Oxford and offering a beautiful quadrangle setting, St Cross College is pleased to offer facilities for all kinds of events such as conferences, formal meetings, dinners, banquets, luncheons, drinks receptions and wedding receptions.

With excellent catering and an extensive wine cellar, St Cross has a number of rooms available for your event, each with its own definite atmosphere and style.

The Van Heyningen Room (see the 360 Virtual Tour)

The Van Heyningen Room displays some of the college's most beautiful artwork, together with a section of our library, thus creating an elegant and intimate environment. Meetings and dinners can be held in this room up to a maximum of 10 people.

The Ian Skipper Room (see the 360 Virtual Tour)

Despite being on the lower ground floor the Ian Skipper room has natural daylight and is within close reach of all the college's amenities. The larger size of the room makes it very flexible in its use, it can hold a boardroom meeting or dinner for up to 24 people, or alternatively be used as a lecture theatre for up to 35 people.

The Saugman Common Room (see the 360 Virtual Tour)

This room is the social heart of the college. Located in the east wing of the college with a view over the Blackman Quad through large windows, the Saugman room, a former cloister has direct access on to the quadrangle lawn. This room is perfect for any kind of social reception or party, including wedding receptions.

The Hall (see the 360 Virtual Tour)

Located in the newly built South wing, the Hall is a highly attractive dining room, seating up to 120 people for dinner, luncheons or banquets. The large windows offer superb views to the college garden, which together with the high ceilings make this room a light, airy and comfortably spacious area for any gathering.

The STX Room (see the 360 Virtual Tour)

The St Cross Room, perfect to host meetings, is also an intimate environment to host lunch or dinner receptions (up to 18 people).

 

Prices

Banquets, Dinners, Luncheons and Weddings

Please note you would be expected to have a three course meal in order to cover staff costs and that there is a staff overtime surcharge for Saturday and Sunday (in addition to the individual menu prices). All prices ex VAT

Conferences

Please note that in the case of an all day room booking, it is assumed refreshments and food will be required. All catering requirements should be ordered directly with the College. Please note, a charge may be levied to the hire of the room should there be no catering required.
