Every lunch includes:

  • Soup and bread
  • A hot main from the hot counter or a cold main from the salad table
  • One  of the following: piece of fruit; yoghurt; cheese & crackers; dessert (on Fridays)
  • Tea or coffee

Served Monday to Friday, 12:15 to 13:45.
For October only, lunch service will be from 12:15 - 14:00.
 

No booking is required, and you are welcome to bring up to three guests.

The kitchen closes over Easter and for the Long Vacation; information can be found on the term calendar.

A price list for meals is available here. Lunches can be paid via money loaded onto your Bod card. 

 

Any payments including card top-ups should be made in the Lodge between the hours of 11:30 and 13:45 on Monday to Thursday.
Please note you will not be able to make payments at the Lodge on Fridays.

 

You are also able to arrange for your card to be credited by making direct payment into the College's bank account shown below using TOPUP and your last name and OSS number as the reference. Please note that this will take 24 hours to process the payment and credit your card. Please email accounts-payments@stx.ox.ac.uk to advise that you have made a transfer for TOPUPS. The College bank account information is available here.

 

Dietary Requirements

Vegetarian options are available for main dishes and at the salad bar every lunchtime and there is usually a vegan option (either soup or main course) each day. If you have any particular dietary requirements and wish to check whether a meal will be available for you, please contact the Catering Manager ( catering@stx.ox.ac.uk ) before 9am on the day you wish to attend lunch. Allergen information is provided for each meal, but if you have any particular concerns or questions, please contact a member of staff.

 

Bringing children into Hall

Members are welcome to bring children into lunch provided they are supervised. There are two high chairs available to use - please ask a member of staff. We regret that we are unable to warm food or milk due to Health and Safety concerns. Children are not permitted at any dinner (including Hall) or evening functions.
