St Cross College, jointly with the Oxford NERC Doctoral Training Program in Environmental Research, offers the following scholarship for students in this Doctoral Training Programme (DTP) at the University of Oxford - the DTP recruits to three subject streams: The Physical Climate; Biodiversity, Ecology & Evolutionary Processes and the Dynamic Earth - Surface Processes and Natural Hazards.
The Scholarship is open to all candidates and covers the cost of the course fee at the Home/Republic of Ireland level for the duration of fee liability on condition of successfully completing Transfer of Status. Overseas students with UKRI funding may be eligible for Home fee status and should check this with their department after receiving an offer. All other overseas candidates will need to secure additional funding to cover the shortfall between the Scholarship's Home/Republic of Ireland fee cover and the overseas course fee. The Scholarship also includes an annual maintenance grant to the value of the UKRI doctoral stipend.
Application Criteria
To be considered for this Scholarship, applicants must have applied to study for a relevant course by the January 2023 application deadline. No separate application is required and all eligible offer-holders will be considered for this award.
