St Cross Research Presentation Prize Competition
Present your Oxford academic research in a talk of no more than 5 minutes in an online Zoom event in 7th week for the chance to win a prize award of £300.
Interested applicants should send their presentation title together with copies of their
PowerPoint slide(s) (up to a maximum of 3) to the Senior Tutor (Academic Affairs & Programmes) at joanna.ashbourn@stx.ox.ac.uk by 17:00 on Friday 12 February.

STAIR Journal


St Antony’s International Review (STAIR) is the University of Oxford’s only peer-reviewed journal of international affairs. They are seeking reviews of recent publications on the topics related to our current issue's theme, titled, "Revolution, Retrenchment, or Reform? Social Movements in a Changing Political World." The deadline for the Call for Book Reviews of up to 1500 words is Saturday 20 February. Further information on this along with a list of suggested books can be found here.

Beauty Industry Survey


St Cross alumna Irene Rizzo is looking for people to answer a short survey which will form part of her DPhil research. The survey concerns the beauty, health and wellbeing industry and it is aimed at making its products more accessible and affordable to most people. 

You can answer the survey here - responses are anonymous.

St Cross College Library Update


The Library remains open for study and spaces MUST be booked by 10 pm the day prior to your visit, please do supply us with your full name at the time of booking.

It is essential that all Library users wear a face covering at all times unless medically exempt and that you clean your desk before leaving with the cleaning materials provided.
Food, non-silent study and congregating are not permitted. Action will be taken if anyone is found not to be adhering to the Library rules.

Managing Exam Anxiety

This session will identify some of the main causes of why people turn the normal pressures and stress
in facing the challenges of exams into what feels like overwhelming and incapacitating exam anxiety.
Most of the session will then look at practical strategies to manage and overcome these worries.

Space Travel Across the Decades and Beyond

A discussion panel will discuss the history and future of "Space Travel Across the Decades and Beyond".
