The St Cross College Development & External Relations Office is responsible for managing all development, alumni relations and College communications work.
The post of Alumni Engagement Manager is a highly varied role. The post holder will play a key role in managing and embedding new alumni and supporter engagement projects at St Cross College, to help foster the best possible relationships with stakeholders, most notably alumni, but also friends of the college, and donors.
The role will have specific responsibility for managing alumni relations activities and regular-giving fundraising. The post provides a unique opportunity within the collegiate university to work across a broad range of areas within a small but ambitious Development & External Relations Office and to take the lead on embedding new initiatives. St Cross College currently has over 3,400 alumni based in 114 different countries. Due to the age of the College and its growth of the College in recent years, the alumni community is younger than average, and therefore in many cases at an early stage of their career.
The post holder will be expected to play an active role in the College community, including attending a number of events each year, some of which may be out-of-hours.
This is a permanent position offered on a full-time basis of 36.5 hours a week. Candidates who wish to work at least 0.8FTE will be considered. Working hours will be 09:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Friday. Benefits include a holiday entitlement of 30 days per year (plus 8 bank holidays), and inclusion in the University's pension scheme.
Interested applicants should send their covering letter, CV and completed application form and equal opportunities form to the Bursary Administrator, Jocelyn Larsen (email@example.com) by the application deadline.
Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
