MPhil Scholarships in the Humanities and Social Sciences

St Cross College invites applications for two MPhil Scholarships from students who will begin studying at the University of Oxford in the academic year 2017-2018 for an MPhil degree in any of the humanities and social science disciplines or for the BPhil degree in Philosophy. Applicants must list St Cross College as their first choice college on their Graduate Admissions application in order to be eligible to apply for these Scholarships.

The Scholarships each have the value of £4,000 per annum, to cover the annual College fee (£2,933 for 2016-2017) and a small stipend, and are each tenable for two years coterminous with College fee liability (but only one year for the one-year MPhil in Law course). The two successful scholars will be guaranteed to have a room in College accommodation (at the standard rent) for the first year of their course. Applications should be received by the application deadline of Friday 10th March 2017.

The Scholarships are tenable at St Cross College only. An application form can be downloaded from this site or requested by email. Written requests should be sent to the Admissions and Academic Assistant, St Cross College, St Giles, Oxford OX1 3LZ.
