Academy of Athens prize for Junior Research Fellow

The College congratulates St Cross Emanoel Lee Junior Research Fellow Dr Gkikas Magiorkinis on a splendid achievement, namely the recent award of a Medical Sciences Prize by the Academy of Athens.

The Ashmolean Museum is celebrating the glories of landscape painting with a new exhibition this autumn, curated by Dr Jon Whiteley, Fellow of St Cross and Senior Assistant Keeper of Western Art at the Ashmolean, where he specialises in French paintings, drawings and prints.

Honorary doctorate for Fellow

Diarmaid MacCulloch, Professor of the History of the Church and Fellow of St Cross College, was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Virginia Theological Seminary, in Alexandria, Virginia, at their annual Academic Convocation held on 4 October 2011.
