St Cross College, Oxford

During January St Cross undertook a successful telephone fund-raising campaign in conjunction with the University Development Office. The campaign was on a smaller scale than the one in April 2010: this time we had just three enormously enthusiastic student callers, Abi Tompkins, Sheel Jagani and Alex Rayner (left, right and centre in the photograph), who between them managed to speak to over 200 alumni during their fortnight’s stint of evenings and weekends.  They raised over £15,000 in gifts and pledges, and we should like to thank once again all those alumni who are supporting St Cross in this way. The Telethon Three also enjoyed the opportunity to talk to past members, keeping them in touch with the College and, who knows, perhaps laying down useful links for the future.
