Alumnus in high profile case

Alumnus Doug Wigdor (MLitt Social Studies, 1993) is currently involved with a high profile court case in New York.  He and his partner in the law firm Thompson Wigdor LLP are representing the victim in the case against the former International Monetary Fund chief, Dominique Strauss-Kahn.  Doug Wigdor (left)Doug Wigdor (left)Strauss-Kahn is alleged to have sexually assaulted a hotel chambermaid in a Manhattan hotel where he was staying. In the latest development in the case, he pleaded not guilty to all charges brought against him.  His next court appearance is set for 18 July.
