Junior Member Guppi Bola (MSc, Global Health Science) is  hoping to make a difference by setting up the Oxford Haiti Appeal to help victims of the  recent devastating  Earthquake.

Since the earthquake hit the Caribbean Island of Haiti on 12^th January,  there have well publicised efforts to raise money and get aid to the people of this disaster-struck country.

Guppi, 24, reflected the feelings of many when she said that she "just wanted to do something to help". She  certainly is doing so by co-ordinating donations and help from around the city of Oxford.  The appeal is directed at all individuals and businesses who think they can help in whatever way possible, whether that be through a particular skill or a monetary donation.
