The evening had a wonderfully jovial atmosphere as Fellows, Students, Members and Friends of the College gathered to celebrate the achievement of one of our own.

Professor MacCulloch started the evening by offering an introduction to the series. He spoke of his thoughts and feelings on the processes behind putting together a series of this magnitude and scope, which has been three years in the making.

The programme was extremely well received by the gathered audience of 130, which included the Heads of House of Regent's Park College and Blackfriars.

If you would like to see episode one of "A History of Christianity" it is now available to view on the BBC iPlayer. The following 5 episodes will be shown on Thursday nights at 9pm on BBC4 (repeated on Sunday evenings at 7pm on BBC4).

Professor MacCulloch's introduction to the series is now available online as an audio podcast. Please subscribe to the St Cross Lectures Podcast Feed.
