St Cross College, Oxford

Upon arriving in Oxford, one of your first orders of business should be to go to the college and sign in. The college is open during normal business hours (9am - 5pm; Monday - Friday) so you should try if at all possible to arrive during that time period. If you are not going to be arriving during that time, contact the office and make special arrangements before you arrive.

Getting to Oxford is pretty easy, if you are arriving from the airport or London, there are direct buses that will drop you off at the bus station, which is only a few minutes walk from the main site. See http://www.oxfordbus.co.uk for more info on schedules/fares. Get off the bus at "Gloucester Green" station (the end of the line for most of the buses).

From Glocester Green, simply exit out to George St., turn left on George St., turn left on Magdalen St. and then continue north until you come to the college. (If you reach the Oxfam you've gone too far.)

Once you reach the college, check in at the Lodge (right inside the front door), if you're arriving during regular business hours. If you are going to be arriving outside of business hours, make sure you have called ahead to make arrangements.
