Matriculation is the ceremony whereby students gain official membership of the University of Oxford. This ceremony is obligatory - if you do not Matriculate you can not Graduate.
The University holds at least one ceremony per term.
The next ceremony will be held on Saturday 16th October - all new students are expected to attend this ceremony.

The college holds a breakfast for all new students prior to the Michaelmas term Matriculation ceremony, at which time students will also be able to have official individual photographs taken; a year group photograph will also be taken at this time.
The dress code for Matriculation is extremely important and rigorously enforced.
Appropriate dress for the ceremony is full sub fusc with graduate gown and cap.
