Dinners

Not to be confused with Hall, College Dinners are more formal occasions which all students, Fellow and Members of Common Room may attend. College Dinners are held  once a week during term, and usually include several courses and wine, this is charged to the battels. The on-line reservation system is used for College Dinners. It is advisable to book as far in advance as possible the dinners are usually oversubscribed. For these occasions you should wear smart dress; gowns are not always necessary. Please refer to the term calendar or the Events Officer if in doubt.

Please note that due to the limited spaces available at these special College dinners, members are only permitted to attend a maximum if 3 special dinners per term with a maximum if 6 guests per term (a maximum of 3 at any one dinner).

Feasts

There are three Feasts each year, one in each term, which are formal events (black tie and gowns). Members may sign up for 1 Feast per year, but can be wait listed for the others if they wish; if spaces are left at the remaing Feasts attendance will be permitted. Students are entitled to one Feast place at half-price. You can make a reservation for the current term's Feast using the on-line reservation system. Again early booking is recommended, should the event already be full please contact the Events Officer who will hold a waiting list.
