Elizabeth is a University Lecturer in Egyptology. She joined St Cross in 2006. Elizabeth took a BA and MA in Egyptology and Archaeology at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and studied for her DPhil at Queen's College, Oxford. From 2003-2006, she lectured in Egyptology at the University of Liverpool. Her research interests include elite representation and biography in the late 2nd Millenium and early 1st Millenium BCE, and she is involved in field projects in Egypt.
