Mick Blowfield is Senior Research Fellow at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment where he is researching the challenges of transforming business in the face of climate change and other aspects of sustainability.

He was previously at the University of Cambridge Programme for Industry and at Boston College. He also teaches at London Business School.

His research has a strong international flavour and in addition to current work with industries in SE Asia, South Africa, North America and Latin America, he has lived and worked in 20 developing countries, including ten years in Indonesia. His latest book, "Corporate Responsibility: a critical introduction", published by OUP, is now in its second edition (2011), and he has over 20 publications related to the private sector relationship to sustainability and modern society.

He has advised many leading companies and various governments and international agencies. He has also worked with trade unions and non-government organisations around the world.
