About the Alumni & Development Office

In June 2004, an Alumni & Development Office was established to foster closer links between the College and its alumni, Fellows and friends, and to take a lead in seeking support for the College and its future plans.

It is the point of contact for all former students and Fellows wishing to get in touch with St Cross. We also aim to keep an up-to-date and accurate record of St Cross alumni. The database is constantly being updated, so please let us know if you move address or workplace, or wish to amend your details in any way. Click here to update your details.

The Alumni & Development Office also takes a lead in fundraising from individuals, charitable trusts, and other organisations for the development of the College and the implementation of plans to increase its membership and expand the accommodation and facilities St Cross is able to provide for its students and visiting scholars. St Cross has a lively programme of events for alumni and friends, and is looking to expand the range of activities for alumni. Take a look at reports of past and forthcoming events in our events section.

The Alumni & Development Office is also responsible for the distribution of the annual Record, and for the production of Crossword, our annual newsletter. We welcome contributions for inclusion in the newsletter - please send all your personal and professional news, and reminiscences of your time at St Cross with photos where possible.

Other initiaitves include promoting networking opportunities for alumni and current students - we recently established a Career Network where students may contact alumni on an ad hoc basis for career advice. If you would like to be part of this network, please let us know.
